2026–2027 Scholarship Application

Application deadline: August 1, 2026 at 9:59 pm EST — Open to high school seniors and current college students.

MWJ Foundation scholarships help reduce reliance on loans and work-study by supplementing unmet financial need for eligible students pursuing a four-year college or university education.

Who can apply

Full-time students enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university.

Eligible expenses

Tuition, required enrollment fees, books, supplies, and course-required equipment.

How funds help

Awards are intended to help replace self-help aid, including loans and unearned work-study.

Before disbursement

Students provide an acceptance form, financial aid award letter, and proof of full-time enrollment.

H.A.P.P.Y. — Homework Assistance Program Preparing Youth

H.A.P.P.Y. provides Memphis students in grades 1–5 with tutoring, mentoring, and enrichment that strengthen academic growth, confidence, and personal development.

Mentoring & Enrichment

MWJ provides leadership-centered mentoring and youth development experiences, including Camp Strand, that help students build confidence, character, and purpose.
